Measures Y and Z Citizens' Oversight Committees

The primary objectives and purposes of these Committees is to monitor and report on the expenditure of Measure Y and Measure Z bond proceeds and to inform the public concerning the expenditure of the bond proceeds. Each Committee consists of at least seven members appointed for two or three year terms. Separate meetings are held quarterly to address both Measure Y and Measure Z projects.

The Measure “Y” Committee monitors and reports to the public on the expenditure of the $7.725 million Measure “Y” bond proceeds. Projects to be financed by bond proceeds include Turlock High School and Roselawn High School modernization projects.
 
The Measure “Z” Committee monitors and reports to the public on the expenditure of the $9.9 million Measure “Z” bond proceeds. Projects to be financed by bond proceeds include Brown, Crane, Crowell, Cunningham, Julien, Osborn, Wakefield and Dutcher Middle School modernization projects. Also, architectural plans for a future elementary school will be developed with bond proceeds.
